This morning started off with some games about colours and typogrpahy on http://www.color.method.ac and http://www.shape.metod.ac. After, we were split into twos and me and Luke were given a sheet of ideograms and we had to decode the sheet to create a sentence.
The image above is our first try at the sentence and we thought it read as
‘ Call me –
I’d love to – drink and eat – tonight – at (somewhere)
Watch tv – first?
speak – soon – kiss kiss.’
However, we were wrong.
In fact, the correct sentence read as
‘Love to – watch tv – tonight
call – me – at HOME
drink and food – first?
speak – soon
kiss – kiss’
We didn’t decode the ideogram that represented HOME.
An intercative little task to get us thinking about ideograms and how they can be used.
