I am starting to experiment with possible Woup packaging designs. I have created a mock up to show the type of information that will be on a pot of soup.
I am starting to look at some accompanying typefaces that I will be using for the fine print on a product. The main typeface works well for the logo etc. However for the fine print ,because it can sometimes be rather small, a more legible typeface will be required. I have started my exploration with the Swiss font, Helvetica, because it is known for its readable qualities at any size.
I have placed some dummy text on the left to really grasp how the smaller typeface will read. I have also brought in a nutrition key.
I can’t help but feel as if this isn’t looking exactly how I imagined it. Even though this is only an early stage, will I really want the packaging to look anything like this?
