I have been working on my own visual identity. Choosing the Empathy & Enterprise studio this year has helped me achieve a better understanding of how to construct a strong brand identity that has a fluid continuity, be it for a client or for myself.
My logo ADAM HAYES, will send out a positive message, forming a narrative in the customers mind ‘he’s the one for the job’. I have chosen this colour scheme based on what I have learnt about my work this year. This year I have come to realise that I seem to work towards outcomes that appear natural and organic. Take these two outcomes for example (below).
I seem to always draw upon natural tones and produce outcomes that seem hand crafted. As the year progressed and I realised that I have an organic style, I decided to feed this into my self branding project. I have also incorporated a modern aspect to my self branding, as much as I want to get my natural way of working across, I also need to not appear too specific, scaring away possible clients. I have used Helvetica to produce a tight and structured finish which keeps those thoughts of nature at bay. On a whole I think the balance in my self branding works well, natural tones, with a modern finish, appealing to a wide array of possible clients.
