Life on Foot was an exhibition at The Design Museum, which incorporates diffused tones, that I am also interested in using.
They chose a teal colour and ran it through the whole exhibition, at no point is it over powering or too much, they only use slim strips of colour. Life on Foot was about a footwear company, and one thing that was interesting was a motif that ran through the exhibition, which was adapted into a large floor pattern, prompting visitors to think about their feet and the act of walking. This same motif was echoed in the round, coloured fixings used within the display.
This sets me off thinking, can my own exhibition concept have a depth of meaning instead of just being aesthetically pleasing.
